I established Luke Heydon Gardens in 2001 and design gardens mainly in East Anglia and London. In 2014 I was awarded The Royal Horticultural Society's Silver Gilt medal for 'The Flint Knapper's Garden' at the Hampton Court Flower Show, this was a community funded show garden telling the story of Thetford in Norfolk.
I specialise in plant orientated gardens that compliment their surroundings and have worked with many private clients, developers, schools and community projects, and have designed landscape schemes for a number of pubs, shops and other commercial premises in East Anglia. I very much enjoy working on wildlife friendly projects and have established wildflower meadows, orchards and native woodlands for private clients and community projects.
Time is taken to select the right plants and materials that not only reflect your tastes but also are suitable for the location, soil conditions, budget and future maintenance requirements. I work as the garden/landscape designer for a number of local building and landscape companies as well as architects and, if required, can recommend the right company for your particular needs.
My aim is to help you achieve your gardens full potential.
